9.0% abv – III (pronounced as “three”) is our hybrid of a Tripel & a Double IPA brewed with brettanomyces. III is brewed with pilsner malt & a touch of unmalted wheat along with copious amounts of hops. No two blends will taste the same!
Limited Edition: Blended
Blend #1 (blended 2/11/2015) – Blend #1 consists of 50/50 blend of young ale & a matured version in Zinfandel barrels. The barrel maturation softens the hop character & brings out notes of peach, apricot & ndispefruit.
Blend #2 (blended 12/22/2015) – Blend #2 consists of 12 month old ale matured in Zinfandel barrels from Napa, CA. The barrel maturation softens the hop character and brings out notes of peach, apricot and grapefruit.
Limited Edition: Dry Hopped
The dry hopped version is always dry hopped. No two blends will taste the same!
Centennial Blend #1 (blended 7/10/2015) – This version was lagered in Chardonnay barrels from Napa, CA and is then dry hopped using only Centennial full cone hops.
Mosaic Blend #1 (blended 2/4/2016) – This version was lagered in Merlot barrels before being dry hopped with whole cone Mosaic hops.
Centennial Blend #2 (blended 1/28/2016) – This version was lagered in Matthiasson Merlot barrels from Napa, CA for 4 months and then dry hopped using only Centennial full cone hops.
Loral Blend #1 (blended 5/7/2020) – TThis version of III is lagered for 12 months in red wine barrels from Napa, CA and then is dry hopped using only Loral hops.
