FRUIT BUSHES: Sour cherry trees, red, black and yellow raspberries, red gooseberries, red and black currants, rhubarb, peach trees, Chinese apricot trees, and French Plum tree are all planted in any free space we can find.
HERB GREENHOUSE: We cannot forget the herbs that we use for our beer including sage, rosemary, sweet-spicy oregano, chamomile, coriander, cilantro, hyssop and many others. Along with being used in beer, we have expand the herb greenhouse to include herbs used for OEC Bakery.
As always, we add our own organic compost made up of spent hops, grains, yeast, and water from OEC to use as fertilizer and soil amendment for our horticultural plants. In addition, we have a beautiful vernal pool in the rear of our building live with toads, frogs, beavers and birds. No pesticide is used.
