- Vintage 2013 Leipziger Goseator Aged in Tequila, Germany- 11.2oz – $11——10.5% This is the original Leipziger Gose brewed double the strength (as a doppel bock) and then aged in tequila oak barrel. It is very interesting and it is definitely worth a try!!
- Schlenkerla Oak Smoke, Germany– 16.9oz – $5——8% abv – Oak RAUCHBIER! Oak Smoke Malt has a smoother and more multi layered smoky note than the more commonly used Beech Smoke Malt.
- Vintage 2015 1809, Germany – 16.9oz – $6—— 7% abv – A very traditional interpretation of the “Berliner Style” Weisse with an intense blend of lactic tartness and complex fruitiness.
- Uerige Sticke, Germany – 11.2oz – $4.5 —— 5.2% abv – Alt style beer (one of German’s great beer style)- big, spicy hop aroma with a firm, malty, middle; and its confidently dry with a appetizing finish.
BELGIUM
- Saison d’ Erpe Mere Lente, Belgium– 16.9oz – $11.5——A special version of the Saison d’ Erpe Mere that is brewed to a stronger strength 9% abv and also with the additional of fresh hop flowers.
- De Dolle Special Export Stout, Belgium– 11.2oz – $5.50 —— 9% abv Even though stout isn’t a traditional Belgian beer style De Dolle Brewers have created a “Belgianized” version of it for B.United. The stout is brewed only a couple of times each year, with roasted malt, caramel malt and pale malt, Nugget hops and the same fermentation as Oerbier.
- De Dolle Stille Nacht, Belgium– 11.2oz – $6 ——10% abv Nacht (Silent Night) is a prestige beer from De Dolle Brouwers, brewed for Christmas.
- De Dolle Oerbier Special Reserva, Belgium – 11.2oz – $10.50 – ——13% abv A specially matured version of De Dolle Oerbier – matured for 18 months in Bordeau wine casks.
- Brasserie Vapeur Cochonne, Belgium – 750ml – $10 ———- 6.6% Saison that is brewed with chickory root with flavors of caramel, spice, and a sourness stemming from the brewer’s unique yeast. There’s a port like complexity to the sweet and sour brew.
- Hanssens Oude Gueuze, Belgium – 750ml – $17 —— 6% abv – Lambic blend.
- Hanssens Kriek Belgium – 750ml – $18 —— 6% abv – Kriek lambic.
- Hanssens Scarenbecca Krieken, Belgium – 12.7oz – $19 —— 6.0% abv – Lambic brewed with wild RARE Belgian Scarenbecca cherries and matured in oak barrels. Extremely rare!
ITALY
- Quarta Runa Italy– 11.2oz – $10.5——7% abv Quarta Runa is a bright, hazy orange golden ale brewed with fresh local Volpedo peaches.
- Xyauyu Barrel OR Gold OR Kioke, Italy– 16.9oz – $50——14% abv Words cannot describe the experience of drinking an Xyauyu!!! These beers enter a world of magic, surprises, rhythm where the — in of gluttony — can be committed without remorse. This beer crossed the word of beer and sherry and is meant to be sipped and enjoy on a comfortable sofa, relaxing and daydreaming. The bottle when is opened remains unaltered and can be even drunk and appreciated within a long time. Served like a sherry!!!
- Loverbeer Beerbrugna, Italy – 11.2oz – $15 —— 6.2% abv –Ale brewed with Damasin Plums and matured in oak barrels. The base beer is inspired by Belgian lambic, and is brewed months before the plums are ready. In fall, the plums are added, and start a new round of fermentation.
- Montegioco Bran Reserva, Italy – 11.2oz – $10.5 —— 8.5% abv – roduced by aging Bran strong brown ale for 10 months in Barbera barriques from Bigolla Walter Massa. In the glass it is black, opaque with a cappuccino colored head. In the nose rosted notes (with a scent reminiscent of cocoa paste) and notes derived from oak aging (reminiscent of balsamic vinegar) coexist. In the mouth there are on one side the obvious toasty, cocoa, soy sauce, and secondly the acidic flavors. The tannins in the long lasting finish show wood and a slight astringency from roasting. Bran Reserva is very complex, difficult, for lovers of strong emotions.
- Del Ducato Verdi Imperial Stout, Italy– 11.2oz – $5.75 —— 9% abv Italian Imperial Stout using Red Chili Pepper.
- Vintage La Luna Rossa 2012/13 Italy – 11.2oz – $13 ——9% abv – A blend of different beers, some of which are barrel aged up to 2 years with morel and amarena cherries. Intense amber with ruby highlights, the nose is extraordinarily complex with fruity aromas of morel and amarena cherry perfectly blending with subtle ethereal notes, acetic and lactic flavors and hints of oxidized malts. It has a sapid, full mouthed lasting palate with a magnificently elevating sour finish. A beer for strong emotions, it is an homage to all lovers beyond time and space.
- Del Ducato Koji Riso II, Italy– 11.2oz – $9.5 —— 5.5% abv Koji Il Riso Ale brewed with Koji yeast from Kiuchi Brewery
- Vintage Del Ducato Chimera 2010, Italy– 11.2oz – $8.5 —— 8% abv – This beer draws inspiration from the great Belgian Abbey beers – color of a friar’s robe, aromas of caramel and fruit (pear, plum and morel) with light roasts. Mouth is warm and complex with an unexpected dry finish that makes drinking easier.
- Birrificio Baladin Al-iksir, Italy– 25.4oz – $18 ——10% abv Italian Demi-Sec made with Scottish Whiskey Yeast.
- Vintage Montegioco Tibir 2013, Italy – 750ml – $22 ———- 7.6% Brewed with Timorasso grapes and wine yeast. The vinous notes of the grape prevail in the nose and give great complexity.
- Vintage 2013 PVK, Italy– 25.4oz – $21—– 4.5% abv Ale brewed with spices and aged in Salco Wine Barrels.
- Baladin Noel Chocolat, Italy– 25.4oz – $17 ——9% abv The skillful use of Criollo cocoa by Domori, in its rare, refined and aromatic Chuao variety, characterizes Nöel Chocolat from the very first sip, and bring out pleasant and warm chocolate notes. These are perfectly counterbalanced by hints of roasted cereals, which evoke the taste of nuts. The bitter note of hops leaves a balanced bitter-sweet aftertaste, which satisfies the palate at every sip.
SWISS
- Vintage BFM Abbaye de Saint Bon Chien GRAND CRU (4 varieties), Swiss – 375ml -$19 each —— 11% abv – #1 Grand Cru Sauternes, aged in Sauternes barrels (sweet wine from France), an interesting almost sweet edition, kind of woody, vanillia and dried fruits — #2 Grand Cru Rasteau, aged in a 500 liters Rasteau (also a sweet wine from France, but muted with alcohol), very spicy almost reminding a Gluehwein — #3 Grand Cru San Giovese, aged in Chianti 500 liters barrels
- BFM Sqrt 225, Swiss– 11.2oz – $6.75——5% abv Brewed for BFM’s 15th Anniversary! Belgium style saison matured in third use Abbaye de Saint Bon Chien barrels for 4 months.
- BFM Procrastinator Blend #3, Swiss– 11.2oz – $11 —— 10% abv Procrastinator Batch# 3 is the 2015 “summer version” and the acidity composition is similar to that of “The Blueberry Nightmare” – so very very intensely sour!! Based beer is BFM’s La Mandragore (8% Belgian Strong) that was left in a vessel outside of the brewery during the summer so that it gets quietly a bit oxidized, a bit aged in Rum barrels, then blended.
- BFM Sqrt 225 Rhubarb, Swiss – 11.2oz – $7 —— 5.3% abv – Brewed for BFM’s 15th Anniversary! Belgium style saison matured in third use Abbaye de Saint Bon Chien barrels for 4 months using rhubarb.
- BFM Cuvee Alex Le Rouge , Swiss – 11.2oz – $7—--10.3% abv – Imperial Stout brewed with Black Pepper, Vanilla & Tea Leaves.
- BFM La Meule, Swiss – 11.2oz – $7—–6% abv – This could be superficially dismissed by some as “yet anther belgian-style blonde ale”. Big mistake. In the depths of a glass of La Meule lurks a truly amazing fresh, herbal kick that’ll instantly convince you this one deserves to be put in a class of its own.
- BFM BATS, Switzerland– 11.2oz – $7.5 —— 6% abv Amber ale brewed with Lapsang Tarry Suchong from China. Lapsang Suchong is a Chinese black tea smoked over pine wood.
- Vintage BFM Abbaye de Saint Bon Chien, Swiss – Vintage 2017 750ml – $23 OR Vintage 2015 750ml – $24 OR Vintage 2014 750ml – $24 OR Vintage 2013 375ml – $17 —— 11% abv – A unique sour ale aged in wooden casks which have been used for several years before to age Merlot, Merlot Cabernet, Whisky and then Grappa. It manages to merge into all the complex aromas of a vintage red wine along with the delicate harmony and flavors of the wood and its former contents.
- Vintage BFM Abbaye de Saint Bon Chien Chateau Latour 2016, Swiss – 750ml -$28 —— 11% abv – Special Abbaye 20th Anniversary Edition aged in Chateau Latour barrels.
- BFM Brut des Franches, Swiss – 750ml – $28 —— 9% abv – A blend of 3 long aged saison √225 (aged in vin jaune barrels, smoked version, and classic), bottled and conditioned like for Champagne. It has been aged for 15 months in a Champagne cellar near by BFM and then degorged and finished with a special liqueur d’expedition (a blend of a barley wine and of a beer spirit aged in rum barrels).
