Clavis is our project consisting of blending our sour (and sometimes spontaneous) beers with house produced, barrel fermented kombucha. These products may also be fruited from time to time, but do not necessarily have to be.
Clavis Purpura
5.6% abv – Clavis Purpura is a special blend consisting of 75% oak aged spontaneously fermented ale & 25% spontaneously fermented kombucha. Black, green & white tea are added to the coolship while the kombucha sits overnight, done in conjunction with Potions Magical Elixirs 9 month & 18 month spontaneous ale are then blended with 9 month old kombucha and matured on 220 lbs of freshly picked Burlington blueberries & their juice from Evergreen Berry Farm in Watertown CT.

Blend #3 – This version was blended on 9/13/2019.
Clavis Nocturnum
5.6% abv – Clavis Nocturnum is a special blend consisting of 75% oak aged spontaneously fermented ale & 2% spontaneously fermented kombucha. Black, green and white tea are added tot he coolship while the kombucha sits overnight. The blend is then matured on 220 lbs of freshly picked black raspberries & their juice from Evergreen Berry Farm in Watertown, CT

Clavis Jupiter
5.6% abv – Clavis Jupiter Blend #1 is a special blend consisting of 50% oak aged spontaneously fermented ale between 1 and 2 years of age), 25% sour ale $ 25% spontaneously fermented kombucha. Black, green & white tea are added to the coolship while the kombucha sits overnight. The blend is then matured on freshly picked blueberries & steam extracted black raspberry juice from Evergreen Berry Farm in Watertown, CT.
